No mileage with this as far as I'm aware and on the second point; they are receiving feedback through the dealer network of course but end user feedback is always better IMHO.

I too have a "fluffy bottom" on my Krystal.
Vinyl all cleaned with RCM. No dust whatsoever on stylus but fluff sticking to tape on underside of cartridge body. I have not found a safe way to remove this
