I have contacted LINN to ask their opinion on this. I will post more as soon as I have their reply

Thank you Kaptain. It is already interesting to know the improvement with the reset !
Sometimes my Radikal DC engine makes a little rattling noise, it doesn’t disturb the music. Has anyone noticed ?

I have never heard of a rattle from a Radikal, it suggests that there might be something wrong.

Possible causes:-
Noisy Motor (unlikely as its a DC motor)
Loose Mounting (possible, try seeing if theres any 'wobble' between the motor and the top plate. If its loose, nip up the mounting bolts)
The motor 'pod' is in contact with the LP12's base (possible. There was a long topic about it on the old LINN board. If thats the case you will need to see your LINN dealer)

The clicking only happens at times, it seems to me it does not affect the listening. The motor fasteners are fine. I’ll control the gap between the bottom of the engine and the trampoline plate.

So we are a month on, and no reply from LINN. Not even 'we'll have a look into it'

Very strange as I would have expected something, even if its 'how odd'

No great surprise there the standard answer to anything is if it sounds better to you it is better.
