I like Colin but I wouldn't buy a incomplete used SKale just to save a few squid. :smt018
He probably got them free from Roger as testers :smt018

I think Colin is just better keeping to the all Linn philosophy which is fine. I'm sure he's happier with that and it looks like this is what he's doing.

I've just fitted a sKale to my Roksan Nima in place of its own 130g counterweight. The sKale counterweight is 140g and I had to add the supplied 20g extra weight in order to get it about 5mm away from the yoke. It was way off with the Nima weight. I'm using a Linn Krystal cartridge. No idea why Roksan don't offer a heavier weight of their own.

The results are not subtle.

Surprised, unique, or unusual, fear ye not! :lol: The Nima is an outstanding vfm arm and more than capable of looking after a Krystal. The combo sounds fabulous IMO and those that have heard it agree. Have a listen sometime and let me know what you think. :smt002
