So I think the consensus is that a Stiletto/Ekos SE will not be as good as a Woodsong/Karmen/Aro :smt023 8)

Glad we got that one sorted

Was there really ever any doubt?

Best regards from a Woodsong, Karmen, Aro user!

I got to see the new Tangerine Stilletto plinths yesterday at Cymbiosis. I have to say that the quality of the machining and the finish is absolutely superb. Although Peter has the plain plinth fully assembled, it was the fluted example which really struck me. I thought the plain looked a bit, well, plain by comparison, but the fluted example looked the business! I would, however, comment that I think the corner radii where the arm board sits should be reduced. It just doesn't look quite right next to the sharp corner of the arm board. I'd be interested to know what others think about this.

That said, it's still got to be wood for me, I think.

It sounds very good  !
Rock solid presentation... a demo should clearly show . Price is really the only unfavorable variable as far as I am concerned.

Very tempted if I can find a nice ARO to build another Radikal, Urika, Keel, Stiletto LP12. I would then have to consider if I should use Sarum or Music?

I suppose I ought to go the whole hog 8)

Well if you are short of space and wanted to store it at my house with a few arm tops and a selection of cartridges, I could always let people come round for a listen :smt023
