Its a lovely plinth, albeit not my original. Peter replaced my un braced afro with this braced one when I had the Khan installed a couple of years back.

He had two to choose from, and this one looked better to our eyes.

Addendum 1

I have just added the second weight disc to the sKale (It was too heavy with it on the ITTOK) and its even better. The musicians have been taking lessons, or got better instruments.

Veil's lifted, windows opened and all the other clichés that reviewers use.

Oh, and the amp has a better grip on the bass as well. I am just grinning like an idiot.

The Ittock was fine arm in its day, but the Ekos Se is better in all sorts of ways but above all, its bloody enjoyable. Congrats James. I'm sure that when you are not on your 'A' game, all you will have to do is drift your mind back to those Se sounds and how much better the world will seem when needle next hits the Groove. Very pleased for you ............. :smt023

Thats it! Enjoyable is the word.

... and its so frictionless. The ITTOK felt like it was moving through porridge in comparison.

James,
I went from Ittok to one of the last Ekos 2's ever made then to a Ekos SE.
I never heard any porridge along the way. :smt036

No, the ITTOK was free running, its not that the ITTOK was bad, itsjust that the EKOS is so much free-er. Silky smooth has nothing on this.
