Stu, not sure what to make of this? Reading the post it sounds like a labour of love that only the maker will ever hear so not sure how it would sound against an original ARO guess we will never know. Also wonder what Naim think
However, looks nice from the photo.

Music was my first love and it will be my last!

Graham,
It would be interesting to know what's under and in the cup?

Stu,
where did you dig that photo up from?
Is it an early Naim prototype?
I ask that because the LP12 looks very dated: Troika, non-keel, maccano top-plate...

Indeed it is.... and I've posted three times on there without getting moderated

Anyway, it's an interesting look alike but I'd like to have a look under the cup so to speak. Total respect to the gentleman who's made it.
While on the subject. Things I couldn't talk about over there..... - Yes, service no longer supported by the factory which I'm very disappointed about, so only one thing for it.... I'll source as many of the "unavailable "parts as I can and offer help to Aro owners wherever it's possible.
We already have the Skale counterweights and the Elevator from Roger @ Tiger Paw.
So far I've acquired a significant number of the (thought to be unavailable) board sockets for Urika or the making of replacement arm cables as we have also made the circular cable clamp, so the cable will fit; just like an original to the base of the arm!
I can now supply a replica Aro arm board rest too if one get's broken.
Additionally, I'm working with an arm manufacturer to provide bearing repairs - Shouldn't be long I hope, likewise arm top re-wires.
Linn will still make the standard armboard and Kore sub-chassis and I've recently taken another batch of Keels. All is good here.
I have mentioned the above to Naim, but please help to spread the word.
I will continue to push for a replacement from Salisbury as interest appears strong.
That about covers it for now.

Re: Home Brew Titanium ARO On LP12
Nothing to do with me and of no interest but there is a Arm only for sale on ebay. Apparently the rest of it went with the deck (belonged to his Father who has died apparently).
Might be of use to someone???
Already at £430 with 5 days left - buy it now £750

If it's complete and in good condition then £750 is a good price to pay if someone wants one or a spare.shellspeed wrote:Nothing to do with me and of no interest but there is a Arm only for sale on ebay. Apparently the rest of it went with the deck (belonged to his Father who has died apparently).
