AT has given the stylus reading glasses, so it can read detail in the groove better! :g-thumb:

What a fab idea!
For dusty albums it could be called the specsaver.

Well that won't be happening anytime soon it seems and AT have limited supplies and so only three outlets in the UK will see any.
Peter,
I guess they might think you are already a little bit pro other cartridges

If it's good at the price and I like it, then that's all that matters to me.

I sell plenty of ATF2s, ATF7s and the smaller moving magnets for them, so I'm not anti AT, far from it. I also do sell a large number of the bigger Moving Coils from Linn, Dynavector, Lyra and Kiseki

When the rep said no, I just said OK and your loss :smt009

Sorry I cant help guys

Peter,
I wasn't implying you were in anyway anti ATC cartridges.
It would have to be very very special at that price point to better the quality carts that are already proven and the ones at half the price. :smt023

It must be because I'm as old as dirt that my shaky hands would be reticent to try to clean that stylus with the coils over the diamond tip and lead wires in line along the boron cantilever.
I suppose you just can't make any mistakes.

But the sound just might make it worth taking the chance. :smt023

Jeepers, I hope nobody actually cleans their stylus upside down...but maybe somebody wants to help capillary action along with a little boost from gravity. :o :o :o xss07

Original 1978 Fluted Afromosia LP12, Ekos 2, Lyra Kleos SL and lots of other stuff from the 70's that still work fine.

Cannot believe anything would sound as good as my Krystal at the moment (pure heaven).
Bang for buck and all that.
One has to ask how much better for 4.5k!!
Maybe that’s a different subject. :smt017
