If you look inside your Aro box you should find five (including one spare) little gold connectors which plug into the female cartridge and arm leads. If you don't have them, I'd suggest you call Peter Swain at Cymbiosis who seems to have managed to secure sources for many Aro spare parts. It's a great tonearm BTW.

Thats the easy part over with.
The next step isn't so easy.
When you fit the tag wires to the Kandid make sure they won't drop and touch the record when playing.
Its best to take your time and twist them.

Yes you correct of mounting this cart with wiring .

Tried to find close ups with kandid on aro and none that shows it . :-(

Robert.
Stop what you are doing before you cause damage.
What you are using are not fit for purpose.
I will get you some help.

Hi Paul , this is not my arm or cart .
Best give it back to whom it belongs then.
Its a over complicated mess.

I have an Aro and kandid and was looking for close up pics of that arm leeds .

Attempted but didn't like how wires were so i disassembled .

Jim posted these of another user .

It might seem silly, but this connection idiosyncrasy slightly puts me off using a Kandid in my Aro :?
Currently Cymbiosis LP12 Woodsong Wenge, Klimax Radikal/Chord Sarum T, Keel/A, Khan, Tranquility, Urika/Chord SSA, Aro, sKale, Lyra Kleos SL - Sondek owner since 1982 - the rest is Naim, Chord and Kudos 8)

It was, of course, the same with the Troika, for which I believe the Aro was originally designed. Once the leads are appropriately connected and folded neatly behind the cartridge body, there shouldn't be any further issue. Don't give up as I'm sure it will be worth the effort in the end. IIRC Red Kite, formerly of this forum, uses a Kandid / Aro combination in a very high spec LP12.
