Just has one of my drop in visits to Peters acquired a nice new plinth. Simplinth birdseye maple. Stunning beast hopefully all fitting in a couple of weeks.

On a previous visit to Peter, the Simplinth manufacturer also turned up with a delivery. I also weakened and took a maple one away with me. Fitted perfectly and 'sounds' fine. And looks great. It's nice to see someone making interesting looking, well made value for money plinths. I love the Harbans but exchange rates are not helping the pricing these days. Anyway, hope you like it :D

Hello Ray, can you post some some of the pictures you took whilst deciding on which one? They look great on FB, but I know some here are not members of FB :)

I got to work out how to post them peter as they are on my phone. I looked at two both birdseye maple. But the finish was different on the top of the plinth. I had my mind up but sent pictured to marg. And she chose the same one as me.

Yes Ray. One of them was particularly well figured on the top edge.
