Yes, thank you, Chris. I may just have to try a SST on loan to see how it compares with the Music Works lead which I'm currently using.

I wonder if Debs has tried a different power lead?

Hi Chris,

since you did not answer my question directly .......

From you other answers, I would be right in assuming that the Sarum T power cable improvement has come along with all the other changes to your deck/power supply already in place eg. Klimax Radikal, Tranquility, Khan etc. ??

I'm sorry Adam - what a dreadful oversight, totally unforgivable

In short, yes :smt023

But I tried the Sarum Super ARAY before the Tranquility (and before Fraim), and already had Super ARAY cables from Urika to 552 and from 552/PS to 300 as well. The Klimax case requires the smaller connector so it is not possible to use a Powerline with it.

If James and Steve would like me to take the Sarum T power cable and a Powerline along to the October Kabin social to try with James' deck, I would be delighted to do so.
Currently Cymbiosis LP12 Woodsong Wenge, Klimax Radikal/Chord Sarum T, Keel/A, Khan, Tranquility, Urika/Chord SSA, Aro, sKale, Lyra Kleos SL - Sondek owner since 1982 - the rest is Naim, Chord and Kudos 8)

Erm.........

Ok question. I'm using and multiway adapter. It's a

Tacima-6-Way-Mains-Conditioner about £34 on Amazon.

I can fit 2 un-switched sockets to run the Hifi leads (only need 3 outlets) feed from the existing socket ring main.

Would this be worth while and ditch the mains block?

Thoughts appreciated.

Yes.
Only use unswitched sockets " preferably MK " and no conditioners or components in the line not even neon lights etc.
Can be done very cheaply and safely.
Every " component inline has a signature " :smt018 8) :smt023

MK sockets and associated bits ordered Jim.

Should be here tomorrow so will report in over the weekend. :smt023

I have used unswitched MK in the last house also but still had the mains block. This is uncharted territory.

Please remember that Electric 'bites' and bites hard. Also, depending on what you are actually going to do, you may need to get in a registered electrician.
