I have just got off the phone to Roger in Taiwan.
They are good to go.
Time willing he should have a small clear window in a couple of weeks and he is hoping to get a few up to Cymbiosis . :smt023

Mark,
Roger has had them ready to go for months but just hasn't had the time in England to do anything.
He has flown to over 26 countries round the world this year with his other main businesses.
Looking good for a free window some time this month. :smt023
I am hoping to get one here and on the wall at some point asap.

Thanks Carlton, that is very useful information for those of us keen to hear the new subchassis too.

Sounds good . When you get it up and running, please post your thoughts and a few pics if you can?
We really need a good shelf alternative!

Yes, we need to see photos!

It would be nice to know if the new TP wall shelf will not only do a better job with vibration isolation but also out-handsome my Half Decent...

I suppose the only way to find out is by actually buying one and fixing it to the wall :g-sigh:

Debs,
It looks pretty much the same as the Audiotech Peter has in the shop and the one Steve uses.
But with some nice extras for those who want to use balls and fraim glass and great wall fixings.

Roger consulted the audiotech designer before and during its build.

,

it looks okay, but much like just another turntable wall shelf to me.
It don't look to have any huge design advantage over the Half Decent.

Does it use a double glass shelf on tubular steel?

I may be better off simply using my Half Decent but using an MDF shelf instead of the supplied acrylic in the way that you suggested a couple of years ago.
At least that way it would achieve a similar principle to fraim in utilising; steel / wood / glass to optimise vibration isolation.

I already have a spare glass/cup/balls to use.

Debs,
The picture is Steves audiotech.
I cant comment on how good the TP will sound but the audiotech its based on is still regarded as one of the best ever.

I still use my old SoundOrg LP12 shelves. They seem to do the job, but I am always open to improvements. The Audiotechs are impossible to source here in the States, so a brand new "replica" would be a nice choice. Just glad to see new products designed for the vinyl listener...
