Black Adder/Mr Bean Now a French Detective.

Anyone watch it last night?
I stuck with it for nearly a hour and then went looking for something more entertaining to watch.
ITV need to loose there staple diet of same old same old actors.
THEY NEED TO BRING NEW UNKNOWN ACTORS IN.
Every ITV drama over the last ten years or more has the same actors in it.
Same with the BBC drama's
Its got like the old USA Film studio system.
Sign the actors to a contract and they have to work for you.
The same bunch of TV actors are now in everything. :smt013
Time for new blood.

Don't be too critical just yet, he hasn't eaten his Snickers bar yet :g-rolleyes:

I haven't seen this new French Detective serial yet, is it a serious part he's playing?

I'll have to watch it now so i can make my own mind up.

But you can't blame the guy for having a good go reinventing himself after so many years of Black Adder, Mr Bean, and Johny English.

The trick seems to have worked fine for David Jason, albeit with the [now] rather dated 90s look and some tired old plot scripts.
Although, Jack Frost did score well with a constant stream of cleverly humoured retorts.

Debs,
I wasn't even looking or expecting anything funny.
It was a straight acting part for Rowan.
The production and camera work just didn't didn't for me.
The whole thing seemed to be trying to hard.
Even the sound track was Danny.
Give me [ external image ]and Saga Noren [ external image ]any day of the week.
