Sad news as another loved Film and TV actor dies.
When i got my first phone tape answer machine i recorded the Rockford files answer machine message on it. 8)
Always loved James reply to a reporter many years ago when asked why did you change your name?
Would you live in Hollywood starting out as a actor with the name Bumgarner? :)
The brilliant Elaine Stritch also passed away this week.

In a Michael Caine voice.
Not a lot of people know this, but Elaine was one of the very first Diabetics to have a insulin implant fitted over 30 years ago. :smt023
She was lovely and one of the most fun women i have ever met in my life.

:( He always played the part with a slight twinkle in his eye. I liked that.

Debs,
Do you remember his dad in the Rockford Files?
He used to look after a very young Monkee, Micky Dolenz in the 60s TV show Circus Boy.
