Great I can hide away so I don't see it.

Think he is worse than Chubby Brown. Certainly has put TV into the gutter. Definately supports the case for Censorship. :smt002 If people want to view off DVD in their own home fine. xss01 Please keep the blinds shut.

Grim upsets people yet again. xss32
LP12 (now with the special Peter Swain magic touch and a Kore and T-Cable) for analogue, Majik Aktiv System for digital

Bob,
Thanks for that laugh.
You can't watch much comedy on TV these days if you think Mrs Browns Boys needs censorship?
How you can say worse than Roy Chubby Brown in the same breath is beyond me.

Also the film has done a lot of good politically for the road in Dublin where it was filmed and for the people that have businesses there. :smt023

Agreed. Moral standards have dropped to a level I find extreemly unacceptable level. I am no prude but a time and place for everything.

No talent is required in most of these "comedy" programmes. Just add Fu*k or Cu*t into the programme and everybody laughs?????

Punk was very much the same. Four letter words and an album cover that said "Parental Guidence" or a ban by the Beeb gaurenteed success. Those Punk bands with talent made it through that crass era.

From what you say should we support Rwanda comedy just because it supports some obscure street in Kigali.

Hell, what does it matter, if you enjoy it OK. For me it is the worst of the worst on TV. Each to our own.

Mrs Brown's Boys is a modern take on Old Mother Reilly. I agree it's not very PC but it's bloody funny and, if you want to analyse it, there's usually an underlying moral lesson.

Go for it Carlton. Let us know what you think of it. The thread's not totally crapped on. There's still some light to see out of the stemming brown stuff. :smt023
