For the umteenth time we watched

yesterday

It was a crap copy, but at least it wasn't the "colourised" version.

Fantastic acting from Alastair Sim (I would have paid him to read the weather forecast) and the best lighting ever.

The Patrick Stewart version is nearly as good but Alistair Sim IS the definative Scrooge. :smt023

To be honest i don't understand why its caused such a political mass debate??

They spoofed some who is powerful, very vain, and doesn't like being made fun of, plus has a government agency at his command who can apparently hack, or help others to hack Sony's servers.

I have been very disappointed by Seth Rogan's work other than 'Family Guy', perhaps his humour is so tacky that it works when animated, but somehow doesn't translate to live action.

On your side of the pond, you have Man. City vs. Man. Utd, LIverpool vs. Everton, Celtic vs. Rangers. I am going to watch:

Versus

[ external image ]

This normally is a great game; however, this year my team, Toronto, is pathetically bad. I hope they lose every remaining game so they can get a projected franchise, generational draft pick and start to properly rebuild this team into a potential contender for Lord Stanley's cup:

which was last competed for, and won, by these pathetic Maple Leafs in 1967.....it is enough to make Jesus weep.

As a follow-up. My pathetic team lost 2 - 1 in a shoot-out. During the two goals scored by Montreal in the shoot-out, the Leafs goaltender, Bernier, looked a lot like a small-mouthed bass breaking water on the end of a fisherman's line. He is definitely not a "keeper" :mrg:

This season reminds me of that 1960s TV series, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea
