Is that crime by OAPs - as it does look as if the Brexit prospect has had a deleterious effect on Brexiters' morals so it is likely to be reflected in the crime statistics. :smt002

I can't immediately think of another player who matches the Benteke effect on three managers after separate moves. Perhaps BFS should sell him to Arsenal in January and see what happens

Fellaini moved to United and has caused two managers to be sacked but that's only one move . Even Kevin Nolan didn't get BFS sacked three times :D
It's true as a % but the numbers are so small and the way its counted has changed. It has nothing to do with mass gangs of OAPs roaming supermarkets stealing trolleys for a ramraid on the local whist drive ........

Re the players, I might take a look if I can find an easy way to find a list of all players that have moved 3 times which is the most significant factor here. I reckon 98% on that list will then have had their managers sacked at some point. It's the latter that's defining this not Benteke. i.e. if you take Wenger out of the calculation the average tenure of a Premiership manager is 1.5 years. They are all dead men walking......

I like quirky statistics - like Sunderland don't win if Jack Rodwell starts, and their recent wins followed his injury

We have had an unbelievable set of results but the irony is that they are exactly the reverse of the first half of Sam's reign that pushed us deep into the relegation zone. i.e. we lost 6 of the first 7 games with him in and charge and turned some poorish form into a bit of a meltdown for a while. But now we have won 6 of the last 7. Not suggesting he is totally responsible for either run of results TBH but there is no doubt that the wins at Anfield (our 3rd on the bounce there), Stamford Bridge and the 3-0 against Arsenal have been very impressive and we have built strength from the back. Not rocket science but the transfer window is what has made the difference and so I am sure Pardew is pretty peeved he didn't get the chance to do the same.

Not sure how committed Sam was when he arrived but he has certainly enjoyed the big games and the results. Got his full swagger back in the interviews this weekend and TBH fair play. He is right to be annoyed that all 3 wins have been pegged as off days for the opposing team. Lucky coincidence for us that :)
