Some fantastic artists, music and this LP still sounds mighty good even after all the parties I took it to way back when!

Richard

I do like the Peter Green piece, 'Greeny', which I also found on a compilation album, although not the same one.

Super Duper Blues:

Some of you know and some of you may remember "SteveJ" (Doctor Steve) who used to post on this and other forums. I have not heard of him for a few years now, although I believe he moved down to Devon, but way back in 2013 I visited Steve to hear his system (we had almost identical systems at the time) but primarily to have a dem of his Keith Monks RCM as I was thinking of getting one. Anyway, I was impressed by the RCM and bought a Keith Monks DiscoveryOne which gave great results and I never looked back as far as record cleaning was concerned.

Anyway, the purpose of this wee little story is that Steve gave me a copy of this LP which I am now playing.

All the best Steve where ever you may be,

Richard

John Mayall And The Bluesbreakers - A Hard Road - featuring Peter Green, John McVie and Aynsley Dunbar.

Incredible to think that it was 52 years ago today that they started recording this LP on the 11th October 1966.

Richard

(on vinyl - how could you listen to such a recording on anything else).
