Vinyl released 2018 - Epic, historical, beautiful folk music, played with care and love, though a tad indulgent for non-fans of folk. 8)

Fiddle, Whistle – John McCusker
Shaker – Sam Lakeman

None foreign parts LP12 - Naim CD - Naim Amplication - Kudos Speakers.

Had the privilege of seeing him in a packed out Church last summer. Real good night.

Bill Evans - Time Remembered

I've been playing this album quite a lot lately. It includes the first pieces he recorded after the loss of Scott LaFaro as well as the remaining tracks from Shelly's Manne Hole which didn't make it on that album. That doesn't imply that the tracks on here are any less exceptional, far from it. The >10 minute solo version of Danny Boy which opens the album is so filled with emotion.

Ronny Jordan's 'The Quiet Revolution' is a very classy cool album with a brilliant mix of acid, jazz & funk.

CD available on the river from 0.02 :smt023
Music was my first love and it will be my last!
