Heavy black stuff, giving the Super 20's cones a good workout :smt023

That album cover does not due the music any justice at all .............. :smt018 ............... talk about thrown together .....

The music is the most important thing but some thought should have gone into the visual presentation of the album, IMHO ...... :smt023

I agree Adam, its not the sort of cover that makes you want to buy it on a whim, but then most of my Classical albums have naff covers like that

Aye they do but that one is bad even by classical standards. Some of the Hi-q releases have pretty decent covers, by classical standards that is ............ :smt036

I am still amazed at the bass with these Super 20's. Compared to the Keilidh the initial impression is "WTF has it gone?"

Its all there, and then some but (and its a very big but)its under full control. Put simply, the Keilidh have an impressive bass, the 20's have an accurate base.

... and plucked strings are a joy

Travelling the mainland today. On this album, released yesterday, Cécile pairs up with pianist Sullivan Fortner and WOW what an up close and intimate listen it is! Just the way I like it! Recommended! :smt023
