If you follow my post's you will know I'm a big RadMac fan but I have followed Mark for years on the radio so I do wish him a speedy recovery. He does seem optimistic from his posts as he says it has been caught early.

Keith,
Have you ever seen Mark and his band live ?
They've played up your neck of the woods quite a lot .
They do it for fun so never come down here.

Yes a fair few times. One of his bands played Pogues songs for most of the set. That was a band called the Family Mahone, I would describe them as a drinking band. His latest band are pirate themed!! He has also attended a few of the gigs at the Church. He is a big fan of John Smith and was there for that one. My favourite line that he used to come up with in his radio 1 show was "the next record is one that I'm contractually binded to play".

Chris Hawkins has been sitting in this week and he's OK but not Mark and art.
It's funny how one gets tuned to listening to somethings that just work and you don't realise until they are gone what a big part of your life they have been for years.
No stand in will ever give you the Magic of the Rad Mac double act.
So I've decided to stop listening until Mark is back with art in the new year.
