KAOTMOTY

Post by The Kaptain » Thu Jan 03, 2019 12:04 pm

Don't forget that the Kabin Album Of The Month Of The Year is half way through its run. Yoy have only two and a half days left to get your vote in. Remember that ALL HiFi kabin members with 10 or more posts are entitled to vote, so if you should have had a PM with the link in, and didn't get it, lost it, fed it to the cat or had it abducted by aliens let me know and I will send it to you again.

For reference the 15 albums that won over the past 12 months are:-

Bill Evans "California Here I Come"
The Bill Evans Trio "Sunday at the Village Vanguard"
Paul Desmond "Desmond Blue"
Charles Lloyd and the Marvels with Lucinda Williams "Vanished Gardens"
Brian Bromberg "Thicker Than Water"
Carole King "Tapestry"
John Coltrane "Both Directions at Once - The Lost Album"
The Nels Cline 4 ”Currents, constellations”
Martin Freeman & Eddie Piller "Jazz On The Corner"
Vanessa Fernandez "Use Me"
The Moody Blues "Days of Future Passed"
Sonny Rollins "A Night At The Village Vanguard"
John Coltrane "A Love Supreme (Live)"
Led Zeppelin "IV"
Duke Ellington "Far East Suite"

The voting closes at Midnight on January 5th and the results will be posted the following day.

Interesting how popular Jazz is to those who vote.

Also, out of the list I own three of the albums.
