Thanks, Jim. I'm glad it's not just my view then. But it was when I started playing the opening (title) track on the Back to the Tracks album that I felt he kind of stopped on a few occasions, as if he'd run out of ideas or because he'd lost the underlying chord progression and was listening to work out where he was. It's something that affects my playing rather too often! At least I'm in good company.
