Tweet of the Week

Forget Gareth Southgate, the real England hero is the undercover journalist who bought Sam Allardyce a pint of wine in that Chinese restaurant two years ago.

I've been sat up in bed for hours, whisky on the bedside table, soft jazz playing in the background, trying to think if I've ever worked with a more idiotic bunch of self centred bastards in my nearly 50 years as a MP.

Nope, still can't think of any. Time for another bottle.

Is that for real :) Good on him for calling it as it is but it's been this way for oh so long. I don't have any time for any of them but I have genuinely been shocked by how so many on all sides have just tried to make personal gains rather than do the right thing for the country/people. Disgusted might be a better word. Modern MPs see it as a career rather than a vocation. Sad really.

It's real, he tweeted it last night. Spot on about the career.

The Killers and The Cure are playing Glastonbury, won't they cancel each other out?

I think this should count. Last night Boris Johnson tweeted that had just cast his vote in the local election but had to delete it one hour later when lots of replies started questioning where he had voted as where he lives there was no local election. He could end up as or PM, scary isn’t it.
