What Happens To Your Hifi & Record Collection when It’s Pushing Up The Daisies Time.

Post by dan steel »

After many years of collection vinyl, cd’s, tapes, and building up the system. What happens when you pop your clogs.

Have you left it family or friends. :smt009

Made arrangements to sell it on. :smt009

Have you had everything valued so they won’t be ripped off. :smt009

Not arsed as you won’t be around. :D

It’s worth thinking about. :smt017

I’ve got no worries I’ve been told the lots going down the hole with me or through the oven doors. :smt023

That’s a very good question Dan
Well I better not get it valued as then she’ll find out what I’ve really spent!
Ultimately I’ll have somebody knowledgeable sell it on for whoever.
Potentially I can’t be arsed as long as I enjoyed it when it was here.
Are you not well then Dan? :smt005

A friend of mine marked those LPs which were valuable such that his son would know not to throw them out when the time comes.

Mrs O knows who to contact if I go first, theres a note with the will if I go last/we both go together.

We have no one to leave it to (start an orderly queue here) so everything will just be sold.

My body is going to medical experiments and if they are any good organs will be donated.
I’m not filling the pockets of some funeral company.
I carry a Cymbiosis Audio donor card and my kids know to ring Peter.
Same as my music CD and vinyl collection they know to ring Rega’s Paul D regarding collection and sale.
Hopefully I’ve got a few years left.
