Why is there no back button?
Not much more to add but is frustrating if you hit the wrong link and you can’t just go back to where you was.

Back button in your browser or on your mobile device?
Its certainly something that can be added if enough users think it would be useful.

Re: Why is there no back button?
I would. A number of times on my Android, swiping back ends up closing the tab.

It works perfectly on my test board but please can you test in "the real world" environment.

Regardless of what page you have been on, clicking the Back button gives the error:The Kaptain wrote: Mon Mar 17, 2025 10:26 am

Re: Why is there no back button?
Works fine on Safari, but I don’t understand why it’s needed - the back arrow on the browser does the same, doesn’t it?

iPad test works too does exactly the same as my browser back button.

Must be the name that works “Back” button.
My secret “Forward” button works too.

The prettification is now complete and is (as far as I know) cross browser compatible

Re: Why is there no back button?
I see the issue here. I browse on an iPad. I have saved the Kabin forum to the Home Screen. This shows the forum in full screen without Safari’s address bar, hence no back arrow

I too use a iPad. If you drag the screen down from full screen mode, it will reveal the back and forward arrows.Billz wrote: Mon Mar 17, 2025 11:00 pm I see the issue here. I browse on an iPad. Re: Why is there no back button?
Not working on my iPad. If you open the site in Safari, then hit the button that allows you to add the site to your home screen, it creates an icon on your iPad. This takes you direct to the site but there is no option to drag the screen down.I too use a iPad. If you drag the screen down from full screen mode, it will reveal the back and forward arrows.

Re: Why is there no back button?
I have the icon on my Home Screen. When I open the site from that icon the back (and forward) arrow(s) is/are shaded because I’ve not visited any threads yet. The arrows are visible though and become live as soon as I’ve visited some pages. If not visible, they become visible once I drag the screen down. If it doesn’t work for you, you must have some navigation tools turned off on your iPad.Billz wrote: Tue Mar 18, 2025 7:17 pmNot working on my iPad. Dragging the screen down is not something which requires an option per se. It’s just a standard iPad operation (but I’m sure you know that).
