He was very crap that day but who would ever be a ref? Not me...... having said that, it seems to be catching and with Wenger's outburst yesterday I suspect technology is on it's way. I am sure I heard something about video footage being used in a trial in some match in the past week or so to make a decision. Can't remember because I was only half listening at the time but thought it referenced Japan ( not sure if that was where the trial was, one of the teams, or the nationality of the player or the ref). Bearing in mind they can't work it out on MOTD after several hours sometimes it will no doubt have drawbacks.

They were trying to use televison replays in the FIFA Club World Cup in Japan last - I think it is the first football tournament to use video-assistant referees, with a pitchside monitor available to referees to check decisions. It did not seem to work very well according to my mate Ronaldo

Bloke is a total prick and needs his eyes testing and banned as a ref for the rest of the season.
Not a red card and a total offside goal

Dean completely messed up what could of been a good game of football.

I wouldn't want the job but there really have been some awful decisions this year and there really does tend to be a bias towards the bigger name clubs and players.

Palace are having a bad enough time without pid referring decisions. I am dreading one tonight against Swansea. I can just see us playing them with 9 players after 30 mins.

If a player says he doesn't want to play ,Can you keep him without playing him until his contract runs out without paying him wages ?
I would love to see that happen and fine him loads of money for breaking his contract to play.
Trouble is he's not wanted and still worth a few bob on the transfer market.
So best shot of him and use the money to buy new players.

Ouch that hurt. BFS focus on a clean sheet had us very nervous when we should have been taking advantage of the tension at the stadium. If Tonka had slotted that chance things might have been different but once we went behind we were always doomed. Andy C's goal was the 3rd or 4th 'my best ever goal' we have had against us this season but TBH even I could score against them at the moment.
