No, you didn't, in fact you said exactly the same. Because Chris said that Shearer had 'pontificated' it seemed to me that maybe he didn't agree with the content. Either way though, my comment was not a criticism / disagreement with anybody, even Alan Shearer, who usually talks a load of bollocks ......

Surely not? Do you really mean he would be sacked? I know the manager situation these days is crazy but I would be amazed if they would sack him unless there is a specific and known problem behind the scenes.

I have to say I don't agree with this hire and fire thing that football has slipped into and think that at some point a club will keep faith and reap benefits but TBH at the minute I am not sure which club that is going to be. I am hoping it's Palace as long as the bad bit is behind us already. This is nothing to do with Pardew particularly, more to do with the principle.

Dont get me wrong i like Slav a lot BUT theres something seriously amiss right now and its either a falling out with the two Daves or something is going on with the players because he seems lost on the touchline this season compared to the last....The body language is definitely much different now.
Hope he turns things around soon and to be honest cant think of a decent manager to replace him right now anyway !!
