Show off your photo skills

Not that great TBH, but a couple of snaps taken with my Panasonic DC-TZ90 compact camera (which is a pretty good camera for the price) as I didn't have time to grab the D SLR







I think the camera coped pretty will with the fast moving subject. I would have preferred a sharper pic, but beggars cant be choosers

Look really good, looks like it panned well. I used to go to air shows at RAF Valley on Anglesey. All the photos I took in them days were on slide film. My granddaughter found the projector and trying to explain what it was was hard so I ended up projecting on a wall. They couldn’t believe that it wouldn’t go on the TV!!!

Never posted any of my photos but this week we went to the Cathedral. No tripods are allowed so this was hand held at 200 ISO at a low speed. I was really happy with the result. We went as the schools place and decorate trees in the cloisters to raise money for charity. Unfortunately this year our daughters class didn’t place one as they opted out because of covid.

Lovely photos. I think it’s touring, so hopefully see it here soon. The cathedral here is getting a lighting art show for three nights next month. Hard to explain but looking forward to it.

Attended the cathedral tonight for an “art performance” which I can only describe as amazing. I thought it would a generic film but it was about the actual cathedral itself and it’s surroundings including the Roman walls. I didn’t take my camera as a tripod would be required which aren’t allowed so had to rely on my old iPhone. The projection was huge and had an ambient sound track.
