40 Years Ago Today

Post by Scooter »

40 years ago today The Wall was released. Two weeks later London Calling was released making that December a titration of playing one then the other.

DebsE,
I have every lp I ever bought too. Nostalgia makes me keep them but they were played on really early turntables like a Garrard sp ? and a Goldring something so today the damage done to the grooves would probably be louder than the music but who cares they are my life story really and are part of my record collection and will stay there until I no longer have any need of a hifi system.
Linn Keltik's, aktive LK100's x4, LP12, Simon Price oak plinth, Lingo3, black Ittok with silver heavy weight, Linn T arm cable, DV 20XII + Infinity and Cirkus bearing, Arcam Rphono + Russ Andrews power supply, Akurate DSII, Inneos Zen mini 2 server and LPSU . Loads of Chord cables.
