Glad to have you back after such a stressful time for you.

Sorting records eh? Well, they will either keep you busy or drive you insane.

Probably insane as there are a lot of them, but have got them all into some sort of order such all the A's together etc but when you have a lot of albums it will take forever, as I am now very isolated up here in North Wales half way up a mountain and no intention of going out, it will keep me occupied for the duration, plus expect some will need cleaning again, but will do that as and when. Trouble is I get them out the rack and start playing them and have loads on the floor as well, but great to enjoy it all again.

Nice to see you back in Kabin Brian. I wouldn't worry too much about your records not being in perfect order. Just play some and then a maybe a bit of sorting. We get most pleasure from actually playing the vinyl ...... 8)

FWIW I use 70% IMS that I get from Cleanroom 12 x 600ml bottles = £ 47 + £10 P&P + VAT = £68-40 = £9-50l -1

I use IMS as well, plus some Bio Ethanol with surgical grade Water, never IPA as it removes the esters from the vinyl after a time, plus Ilfotol wetting agent as the only additive, I have quite a bit of it stored away before the house move and hospital encounter all sealed in light tight boxes, so will enjoy making that up again (Not Really) to use. I had the RCM serviced as well before things happened so all set to go, just need to sort out when I want to start this mammoth task.
