New equipment getting its first squeeze.

Now on the reassemble Topsy Turvy first.

After some very dedicated fettling and the masters touch and a new platter too.

Now a little catchup novel.

I'm well behind the times but unfortunately Covid and chums have had a hand in it.

As soon as Peter could himself and Alison had a Jolly drive up here for a visit and a grand tour holiday weekend.
I can't begin to thank Peter enough for yet again doing the business in now bringing my deck up to full Klimax level as well as supporting my other recent upgrades Kudos X3 speakers and my Naim CD5Si and Supernait 3.
As far as performance improvements are concerned most has been said by others and I have to confirm my findings are the same.

Not only a really super made product but brings the heart of the machine right up to date but strengthens confidence in the turntables longevity and continued support.

First thing i noticed when starting the first side of the first LP was I thought that I had my amp on mute it was so quiet " not that it seemed noisy before " but it was with hindsight compared to this.
The dynamics are bigger and the bass is deeper and everything has much more sparkle and seperation.
But it's the noise floor that has dropped considerably also meaning my volume control is at a lower setting but getting more volume.

Hopefully I can now settle and enjoy what I have for a while " unless someone knows better "
Many thanks again to Cymbiosis delivering the goods in every way.
Maybe I might visit them sometime I'll give them plenty of warning.
