I’ve just got these links about the new Linn bits.
And there is a new power supply to replace Dynamik but might not be available for retrofitting other products until next year called Utopik
Price list and latest info from our very friendly local vendor below.
Thanks for the updates.

I confess that I don’t understand all Linn’s terminology and bits & pieces so is the Utopik a further replacement component for the Radikal that was just upgraded a couple of years ago?
As a couple of weeks ago I had a home demo of an upgraded Radikal in my system and was mighty impressed. So much so that I am thinking of buying the upgrade but if there is now something else I may be better of putting it on hold?

It’s not going to be available for other items until well into next year.
The first item to get it is the new streamer thingy.
Seems like any product that has a Dynamik could have a Utopik replacement.

Umm… so is it applicable to the Radikal then?
And if so we won’t know if it’s any good until it is available anyway.
Richard
It is very likely to be made available as an upgrade to the Radikal 2 amongst other Linn products containing a Dynamic power supply Richard. The Radikal 2 (upgraded Radikal 1) is a fine product in its own right as you have heard. We should find out officially if the Utopik power supply will be made available as a replacement sometime in the next few months. Whether it's an improvement to the current Dynamiked Radikal, well as you say, we won't know until we hear it.

I asked the Linn retailer in Bath last week and he knew nothing about the Utopik. I showed him the picture from Jim’s post in case he thought I was spinning a tale.

Linn are introducing the Utopik as the new standard power supply for the Selekt range.
It is possible that over time this technology could replace the Dynamik in other ranges but for now it is confined to the Selekt range.”
so it it or is it not be better than the existing Power Supplies in the Akurate range? If it were better surely they would start there?
*confused*

It is brand new technology developed and installed in the new Selekt Streaming thing.
It is available for some streamers currently in use as an upgrade and the cost of this upgrade is £1,350
It’s expected that the new power supply will be available as Dynamik was as an upgrade to the new standard.
If Utopik is the new standard in manufactured items I can only imagine a price hike.
Remember the old days when we got a trade in for our old Valhalla when we went lingo.
Be great if this was that same.
Time will tell as it’s obviously Linn’s way forward.

Not so long ago I got a mail from Linn asking me to customise my preferences so I didn’t get any info of no interest.
I ticked the box that said LP12 only and was thanked for input.
Then today I get this. Dugh!
