BT Annual Price Hike

As usual when we get the notification through I give BT a call and ask what they can do for us.

A VERY long call later (his computer was on a go slow) we are on the same service as before but no price rise, therefore we will be saving £56 a year just for Phone and Broadband.

We’ve just been told our broadband is going up £6 a month.
Our home and contents insurance renewal came through too it’s up £100 I usually call them up and they jiggle it about but not this time.
I tried twice and nobody would budge would you like to discontinue your service sir.
Then hit me with but the other quotes you have aren’t direct insurers and only pass to third parties.
