Please be aware that all aspects of Kabin can be confugured to suit most tastes and offer much more than others from font size to background colour.

Any chance of a reputation on the posts? Particularly the what are you listening to it's a very handy shortcut to express approval (or otherwise). Probably a program limitation but, don't ask, don't get...

This was looked at some time ago and it did cause problems as explained below.
"Like" Button Update
We also thought it’s easy enough just to link a thumbs up to the post for clarity.
The font size issue often talked about is easily sorted in the Board Preferences.

I have looked at all of the "Like" et al extensions available, and I am not happy with any of them to be honest. As Coyote Jim linked above, we did try one of the better ones a couple of years ago but with not very good results.
Maybe things will change in the future as they are improved or a new extensions released, but until then I will not be implementing it again.
However, I am always open to suggestions so feel free to ask and I will see whats available, or what I can make myself.
