Talk Talk Colour of Spring Vinyl Versions

Post by briardsrock »

I love this album, one of my top 5 albums of all time! The musicianship is superb and the recording is stunning.

I only own the EMI America pressing and I know there are a couple more out there, does anyone own more than one pressing? Are they all just as incredible as the EMI America? Thx!

The US LP was cut by Wally Traugott, and should have Wally written on the deadwax.
I have an original UK pressing and I have read in the past that it’s better than the US 'Wally' Mastered at Capital version, although I’ve never compared the two. The Hybrid SACD version supposedly beats both of them but again I haven’t heard that version either.
Hope this helps :smt023

I have the 2014 Parlophone version. I bought it within the past few years, so it may still be available. Sorry, I have nothing to compare. But it is a very good pressing.
