Messages in Outbox, not Sent?
I have two private messages I wanted to send but they seem to be in my Outbox rather than the Sent folder.
What does this mean?
What does this mean?

Re: Messages in Outbox, not Sent?
PM's in the Outbox have been sent but not read (and can be edited or deleted if you wish)
Those in Sent Messages have been read and can no longer be altered.

That is worth knowing! I have a similar question with another forum I use that also uses phpBB so that's answered the question. Thanks. The Kaptain wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2024 8:24 am PM's in the Outbox have been sent but not read (and can be edited or deleted if you wish)

I seem to recall a similar situation when the sent items count has reached the limit.

Re: Messages in Outbox, not Sent?
You have three options when your inbox becomes full.
The first two are self explanatory (and are set and forget) the third need action on your part.
If you have a full inbox you will get a 'New Messages On Hold" notice on the Private Message page. To access the private message first you need to delete one or more messages from your inbox, then click "Release all On Hold Messages" to see the private message.
Incidentally, The Kabin has one of the highest PM allowance of 50 pm's per box. I know of some boards who only allow 10 per box, and in one case only 5 in total. Some board owners even have the nerve to charge you if you want a bigger inbox.
This is not the way I run a board even though a bigger PM box obviously increases the The Kabins database usage on the server but allows you to keep more of your useful and important PM's yoiu have received.
