August KAOTM

Post by The Kaptain »

Now its time to think of which 5 albums we have enjoyed the most during this month! :g-thumb:

The voting deadline is:

Midnight GMT/UTC Saturday 31st August

If you are a first time voter in the KAOTM here are a few handy tips...

You may pick 5 albums that you have enjoyed most this month.

We all have 5 votes each, assigned a points value from your chosen positions of 1st to 5th.
You are eligible to vote if you have more than 10 posts.
I have changed things a little this month which will hopefully make things a lot easier for you.

All @Full Members are entitled to vote will be able to access the form by following the
KAOTM Voting Link

POINTS VALUE ALLOCATION
10... your first and best choice
9.... your second choice
8.... your third choice
7.....your fourth choice
6.....your fifth choice

The objective of the points structure is to assess the greater weight of feeling and strength of all Kabin members who contribute votes,
to find what has been the most favourable [and best] album for each month of the year.

I ask you to post your selections as Artist - Album as it makes life a lot easier when compiling the results.

Have fun, enjoy, and may the best album win! :g-yep:

Hello James

Great list

I think “The Incredible String Band” and “Incredible String Band” need to be combined.

The “The” used to haunt me when I first configured the software for my digital juke box as I had most groups filed under “T”.

All the best Nestor
Gramophone: Linn Klimax LP12 Krystal, ADSM/KCT & Spendor D9
Juke Box: JRiver/WiiM, Chord Blu2/Dave/Etude & Harbeth P3ESR-XD

:smt023 Lots of great LPs on the list again. I’m familiar with many of the albums forum members enjoy; though there are quite a few that I know little about especially jazz and blues. I often listen to the clips and am always enthralled by the choices.
